Alissa Lane James is an artist and educator living and working in Portland, Maine. She graduated from the Maine College of Art in 2007 where she majored in photography. Alissa's photography explores self identity through an honest portrayal of autobiographical work. Most currently, Alissa is graduating from the Maine College of Art's Post Baccalaureate Degree Program in K-12 Art Education. She hopes to find herself sharing her passion for art in her own classroom this coming fall.
